Pulmonologist said i sense in biopsy.. it needs to come out anyways.
Hi Karen:
My pulmonologist tried to rush me into surgery. I had 2 nodules, both about 1cm(pretty small). Biopsy showed adenocarcinoma, nsclc.
While I was getting my pre-op cardio checkups, I decided to go with SBRT instead of surgery.
I'm 2 years post treatment, and very happy with my decision. No pain, no side effects, 5 zaps and done. No further treatment.
I'm 77 with a little COPD
If you're an old fart like me and early stage, I would sure recommend SBRT over surgery!!

Karen,
I take it you only have 1 nodule. How big is it? And where is it?
I'll try and remember this if I have another occasion...
