My original Dr Maheshwari in university of Ky only did pet/ CT’s. Now I only get CT’s here in Florida. I do not think CT’s are as accurate as pet/cts

My oncologist usually wants me to get PET scans. The reason PET scans scare me is because the first one I ever had missed a tumor the size of a ping pong ball in my cervix. If I had opted for radiation instead of surgery they wouldn't have found it until my next scan and by that time it may have been too late.

Thanks, I appreciate that but no need to be sorry because it got caught in time and removed!!!My NEXT worry is a surgery I'm waiting to get scheduled to remove a nodule in my abdominal wall that may be more cancer. I've had 4 different cancers already and I'm only 50. My first one was found when I was 41
