Good morning from sunny Ireland I would like to ask for any information on lung cancer

I am unfortunately dealing with a recurring bladder cancer but I also have been monitoring 2 lung nodules that are growing so they are both in my right lung one in too area the other is at the very bottom of my right lung and causing pain in my back it’s been biopsy and it came back as mucinous adeocarinoma anybody able to tell me how there’s was treated and how it went never thought to ask for a grade but I am seeing a surgeon in a weeks time what do I need to do to prepare for appointment and… read more

- Chemotherapy – often used alongside other treatments
- Radiation therapy – to shrink tumors
- Targeted therapy – if specific genetic mutations are found
- Immunotherapy – to help your immune system fight cancer For your surgeon appointment, here are some important questions to consider asking:

- What grade and stage is my cancer?
- Am I a candidate for surgery, and what type would be recommended?
- Should biomarker/mutation testing be done on my biopsy?
- What are the risks given I have two nodules?
- What happens after surgery — will I need chemotherapy or radiation?
- How will recovery affect my breathing long-term?

Bringing a trusted person with you to take notes is really helpful — there's a lot to absorb in these appointments. Thankyou yeh seen my surgeon and u am having a lobectomy on my lower right lung would love advice from other people experience and any advice would be appreciated
