Yay! And Blessings for 2023. I’ve been living with my CA son for 2 months. My Hawaii family were here for Christmas and New Year celebrations. They just flew back this morning.
Hi Patricia2
I agree with Dodi you are the bestest
Thanks Patty! I am back in TN now and next week renew the scans, treatment, tests, doctors, more doctors, more tests. But I feel great and I'm happy. Thanks for always being there for us! You're the bestest!! ( I am a teacher, you know.)
Thanks Patty,
You and I agree. I assumed the Administration had some knowledge of lung cancer patients. It is a very complex disease and moral support is not enough. The first thing I want to know is what Stage and who is treating you. Both my brothers would be dead by now if I hadn’t stepped in to get them to Stanford, or UC SanFrancisco. They both had been misdiagnosed, and fought me, not wanting to drive 1-2 hours. They had an attitude change when they got proper care. One died 23 years later, the other is 11 years out, no sign of cancer. I have talked to every close friend about going to the right place. Even people who live close to Ucla don’t want to drive in traffic for 30 miles.
So I am not going to respond to new people except a friendly welcome and request of how they are doing.
I thinks it is good this topic is in the open now.
I am dealing with snow leaks today, but have a very knowledgeable guy helping with it. I just hired him and 2 other guys to repaint my master bath, they found the leak and the reason for it. I like the head guy a lot.
Good wishes. Ready for Christmas? Lee wrapped a bunch of presents for me too. Oh oh, I better get wrapping.

I agree with Tony and Patricia2 - eliminate the automated question format in place now and replace it with fill in answers like patient vs. caregiver, newly diagnosed vs. established patient, type & stage currently. Also age or age range category. Some people when joining this site like to begin looking for people in their age range or possibly those located within their respective state. Since there are so many individuals on this incredible site, it's impossible for us to follow or meet everyone so maybe changing the initial format might help us narrow the navigation process. I, personally, am not a fan of the current way new people are presented to the site with pat answers that are not descriptive to the individual. Anybody else agree?
