I rang it for both my 6 month chemo course ending and then for the 6 weeks of daily radiation. You earned it just by tolerating it. ❤️
I answered this question on another site like this:
If you have the chance then go for it and be happy you have the option.
I'm terminal and can only dream of ringing the bell. It's never gonna happen for me.
Feel fortunate in that since and be thrilled to be cancer clear.
Brian, you could die of a number of things before cancer gets you. You could hit a deer. You could get hit by a widow maker tree branch. That foot bath could malfunction and electrocute you. A million things could happen. Cancer just makes you realize you need to enjoy each day.
I'm far from cancer clear BUT I feel confident that if the Lord wills it then I will be❤️. I'll know next step in about 3 weeks. Why do you say terminal? With all the treatment options out there and new ones coming everyday there are people living long with Stage 4. I know Stage 4 isn't curable but it is treatable. You're doing well right now and I think there is every reason to expect to continue that path. I'm rooting for you! And all of us.
I never had the opportunity to ring a bell after my chemo. But I would have liked too. The sound is a testimony to your resilience and hope for the future. It is a healing sound that travels thru the air.
