Members shared heartfelt and personal ways they deal with fear while living with cancer, with many finding strength through faith, prayer, and keeping busy each day. Several members described staying focused on the present moment, taking things one day at a time, and leaning on positive thinking to push through the hardest days. A recurring theme was that while fear of the unknown is real and understandable, many found peace through deep faith, breathing exercises, medical knowledge, and the belief that there is still more living to be done.

That's a good question. I like to keep myself busy. I don't worry about tomorrow, I just am happy to wake up another day.

I agree, our time on earth occurs without our consent. It is hard to accept. My best to you.

Basically, I guess I just don't give fear any space. Yes, it creeps in, holding my breath before every CT scan especially, but I'm well aware that whatever it's going to be is what it's going to BE!
I lost a grandfather, uncle and aunt to lung cancer, so I'm very aware of the "inevitable", but also know the changes in treatment have given us more hope than even 10 years ago.
I don't believe it's my time to go just yet....there's still so much to do, and I do ask much as I can. Some days are great, others not so much. Here's to the great ones 🥂
