Give it a try, to me it is supporting and motivational as well as a place to go where you feel like you belong as this group is.

Are you looking for virtual meetups, Zoom meetings, or online community gatherings for lung cancer support? Great news — there are several options available!

Connecting with others online has some real advantages:

- Available anytime, not just at scheduled times
- Access to people from around the world
- No travel required (especially helpful during treatment fatigue)
- A safe option if you're immunocompromised Here are some places to explore virtual lung cancer support:

- LUNGevity – offers virtual support groups and meetups specifically for lung cancer
- American Lung Association – hosts online support resources and connections
- CancerCare – provides online support groups, some via video chat
- Penn Medicine's Focus on Lung Cancer Virtual Conference – an annual event covering treatment updates and lifestyle topics, open to patients, survivors, and caregivers

Many of these groups are led by a facilitator who helps guide conversation, making it easier to open up and connect.

As one MyLungCancerTeam member put it, "Everyone on here 'gets it.' It's so nice to talk with people who understand exactly how we feel." Finding your people really does make a difference. 💙
