I had 17 lymph nodes removed during surgery. Ankle swelling can be caused by the lymphatic system not working as well. I have no pain or heat to the touch. I had this problem after being on airplanes before my cancer. I also have neuropathy caused by spinal stenosis. They are checking the legs regularly but no clots.
