No matter WHAT you are entitled to a 2nd opinion!! Quite frankly, I would adamantly demand a different oncologist. We deserve nothing less than honesty, transparency, and a commitment to our wellbeing (I don't mean to sound like a political ad).
At the very least, you are owed an explanation as to why a biopsy isn't necessary.....treatment options absolutely depend on it. Go get 'em 😉

At a minimum, your oncologist should explain why they do not want to perform a biopsy, so you are not left wondering. There might be genuine medical concerns. Also, a second opinion might be helpful right now.

I would go to another oncologist for follow-up. They probably cannot do more surgery, but immunotherapy extends life. Sometimes for a long time. MDAnderson has many oncologists, request another one. They has patient advocates there too. You can call and request an advocate, so you don’t have to do it by yourself

Well that is one of the wort answers I have ever heard. Find a hospital with compassion. I’m so sorry. That is horrible
