I had 5 treatments SBRT, do not want surgery. 2 nodules, 10mm and 7mm on upper left lobe. No side effects whatsoever. Pet scan in March to check results. If I still have active nodules, wouldn't mind another 5 zaps before I consider surgery

I had radiation on my right lung 4 treatments I go back April 20 to see if it is gone I had already had surgery on my right breast and I didn't want another operation on my lung so I went with radiation I hope I made the right decision Good luck to all and may God bless you

Hi Denise, I had SBRT (stereotactical body radiation therapy) back in April of 2022 (5 treatments in 2 weeks). The tumor has shrunk from 4.7cm to 2.1cm (in December) with reduced and necrotic activity. I was given the choice of SBRT or surgery and chose the radiation therapy. So far, so good. Go back in April for another scan. Oh yeah, I'm Stage 2A, NSCLC adenocarcinoma. As David said, "Full speed ahead!" Many prayers to and for you! Susan

I had 5 SBRT t.reaments in one week. I was poor surgical risk. 2b adenocarcenoma rt. upper lobe.in sept.22. had no side effects.As of aug.23 cat scan,no active disease

I decided to not have surgery on a tumor in my lung instead I had radiation treatment and the cat scan showed it killed the cancer cells in the tumor Hope whatever you decide works for you Sending hugs
