Sorry, but I haven't been on the site for a week.
I am not receiving any treatment. They stopped the Keytruda immunotherapy a year ago this month. The VA wants to stop it after 2 years of treatment. I have continued having scans every 3 months. My PET/CT scans had already shown new lung nodules prior to stopping the Keytruda.
The PET/CT scan on Aug 1st showed an active 8mm nodule in my RLL and numerous smaller nodules in the RLL, RML, and LLL. The growth in my neck shows moderate FDG uptake and is now 1cm. I have CT scans, with contrast, on the neck, chest and pelvis scheduled for the beginning of Nov. I see my Oncologist on Nov 14th. We'll see if there is anything to be done then.
I actually just had a chest CT w/contrast Wed due to COVID. They didn't mention the nodules to me in the hospital. They just said it looked like I might have pneumonia. I spent Wed and Thursday nights in the ICU at the Army hospital. My wife worked in the ICU there until Dec 2021 when she retired. They put me in the biggest room. Though the 2 nurses that treated me didn't work with my wife back then, they both knew of her. She was a by the book, high ethics nurse and patient advocate. They both said it was an honor to meet her. During the day, my wife did most of the nursing other than administering drugs.
I'm going to post about my ordeal next.

Hi Tony thank you for the update my prayers and thoughts are with you. I have been going through a bet myself with stomach issues now. My last CT came out NED thank God. I plan to see a GI specialist about my stomach I am in pain a lot in my stomach. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless you.

I'm sure you know by now that lipase is a pancreatic enzyme. Pancreatic enzymes are what break down the food we eat to usable components.

Pancreatic enzymes are not affected by lung cancer itself, though I imagine some chemo agents could affect them.

I have the opposite, low enzyme levels not associated with my cancer treatments, but due to pancreatic deficiency.
