Thank you Lisa. Because if I retire I will have to depend on Medicare for my care. I am a little bit confused your Medicare takes care of your cancer care fully, Then you have to come out of pocket for your meds. I am still working. God Bless you many prayers and thoughts are with you.

I've been blessed with my Medicare and Supplement insurance. So far, it's covered the majority of my expenses. It's expensive compared to some plans, but I have very few co-pays or adjustments. If I get a higher-than-normal bill, I wait. It usually works out. I could never afford the cost of my treatment otherwise; it's over $15,000 every 3 weeks. Every state is different and I assume the medication price varies as well.

I am on Medicaid and it does pay for all my treatments, care, and medication. I am only 60 years old. I have stage 4 lung cancer that spread to my brain. I get fatigued very easily and have problems with coordination and balance.

I have a $2900 deductable and a $2000 deductable on prescription drugs. Once I pay those Medicare pays the rest. I was 74 when my cancer appeared so total out of pocket has been doable, thank God.

I have Medicare and an Aarp United Supplemental and all I've had to pay is 240.00 a year deductible and part D prescriptions. Most of my prescriptions are free or cheap except my Eliquis.
