But is there a difference in outcome between never smokers and people that were former smokers ?
Hey JoeO: I hear what your saying. Everyone is different. I quit smoking and it's a mixed bag.
My prayers are with you.
God bless. Take care.
If you can quit by all means, please do. Overall you'll feel better as a non smoker. Either way - It's time we leave "smoking" out of lung cancer. It's a stigma that continues to hurt and tends to blame the patient. We know anyone can get lung cancer and that's what we should focus on.
Good you quit as smoking definitely increases lung cancer.
I guess to find out you have to quit. You would think it would be such an easy decision to quit something that is literally killing you. I wish it were that easy, I struggle with it every day because after fifty years it's an old friend who is really bad for you.I keep up the good fight for the most part, but I hate to admit that like that woman or man who is horrible to you, you have to visit once in awhile.
