I had to stop taking kichruda. After the second infusion, because I developed my myestania .gravis. I was then treated with stereotaxjek radiation, and now I am taking target therapy, lumakrass for g12 mutation. Tuma metastasize to my vova, and for that, I also received stereotastic radiation. This is not the best time of my life. But I am grateful that there is treatment. I'm hoping that my scan on June 13th shows. Shrinkage, oh, the tumor and this will give me relief from the inflammation and pain. I seem to be a candidate for every rare side effect.
Hey Brigitte and Anita! I'm kras g12c and keytruda slowed it down a lot but I was still getting growth. They stopped the keytruda early for that reason. I'm on 2nd line treatment of doxetaxel and cyramza and my CT Monday showed the first shrinking since I started treatment. Kras is harder to treat but not impossible! Hang in there!
Stay strong
Thanks Brigitte, I hope it works well too, although the mutation is a worry. I also asked about clinical trials however my consultant thought it was too early to go into a trial as I haven't started the keytruda.
Good look with the combined therapy. I'm glad you have a supportive partner looking into different ideas, treatment and trials. I can't imagine going through this without Mario and my son for support.
Well, it's 2.45am in the morning and I am still awake. I'm watching CNN, the source with kaitlan Collins 😁.
Lots of hugs 🤗 xxx
Hi Anita, So nice to hear from you. I am also glad that you got away for a while and enjoy the beautiful countryside. I was on Keytruda for the last six months and it was ok other than some stomach upset, fatigue, and on-and-off back pain (I don't know if that is the Keytruda) Unfortunately like you, the lymph nodes under my armpit are more aggressive Kras G12a. They will be adding chemo with the Keytruda starting this Thursday because Keytudra is not enough for that. I am quite distressed about it but at this time there is no other type of treatment for this mutation. My partner is looking for trials I may join but they are not very advanced with this mutation. I hope this new protocol helps. I am glad you are getting yourself organized with work and retirement. Smart move. You don't need more stress. I hope Keytruda works well for you. Speak with you soon 💚
