If you are early stage and your tumor is "targetable", SBRT may be a good option.
I chose it over surgery. Five zaps on a TrueBeam and done. No pain, no side effects, no further treatment. I was stage 2b, 2 nodules, both about 1 cm.
It works!!
I just had a wedge resection a month ago. I am glad it is over and fortunately, they caught it early. No chemo or radiation or meds are needed. Do as they ask after surgery, walk, walk walk before, and right after. I healed very quickly.
