Cough drops, robitussin, dayquil. If it's really bad she may need a prescription cough medication so notify her oncology team.

2. Natural Remedies:
- Honey: Can suppress a cough and has antibacterial properties. Add to warm tea or lemon water.
- Tea: Chamomile, peppermint, and raspberry tea can soothe the throat and reduce inflammation.
- Ginger: Anti-inflammatory properties help relax airways. Prepare ginger tea by steeping sliced ginger in boiling water.

3. Environmental Adjustments:
- Humidify the Air: Adding a humidifier can make the air more soothing and comfortable.

4. Breathing Exercises:
- Deep Breathing: Inhale slowly through the nose, hold for 1-2 seconds, and exhale through pursed lips.

5. Proper Coughing Techniques:
- Posture: Sit upright, bend forward slightly, and breathe in deeply before coughing to help clear phlegm.

Always consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new treatments or remedies.
