Right now I have just plain Medicare A&B. It's been paying real well, but I would like to get my part B premiums and deductibles paid for. I know, I should just call. But, I don't want to listen to a bunch of salesman bull, and I think I can get better honest opinions from the good people here. Thanks.

Jerry, every plan is a little different. Rather than having to deal with multiple sales people, maybe try talking to your provider(s) in Georgia and ask them what plans that they accept. Good luck! .
Think about getting a supplemental policy. Compare it with the Advantage program.
Yes the Part D program is highly variable in cost and benefits. I suggest you buy the best you can afford. Drugs delivered in clinics can be covered but prescriptions are $$$$. I buy the best I can afford.
It appears that most who responded have a Medigap Plan, which pays the 20% that Medicare does not pay.
If you're interested in having your Medicare premium and deductibles paid, you would have to qualify for Medicaid, or whatever it's called in your state. To qualify for Medicaid, your monthly income must be below a certain amount.
The other choice, Medicare Advantage plans, vary in their monthly cost. The Medicare premium you pay usually pays for these plans and they cover more than Medicare, such as dental, vision, prescriptions, etc. Based upon the research I've done on 2024 Advantage plans, they are usually for your State only and may not cover your doctors - they have their own list of doctors who you must see.
It's open enrollment time until Dec. 7, so if you go to
https://www.medicare.gov/
and click on "check plans", they do give quite a bit of information on the various Drug plans, Medigap plans, and Medicare Advantage plans.
Good luck and I hope that this helps.
