Stage 1 upper right Did
surgery 9/23/21 no chemo or radiation I feel great go see my doctor once a year now
I had stage 1 NSCLC on my upper left lobe. Did surgery 11/30/22 and I feel great. No radiation or chemo.
Yes. But I had had surgery in the same place 5 years ago. The surgery was actually easier on me. This radiation has knocked me out. 3 months ago and I am so exhausted and out of breath I can hardly do more than sit on the couch.
I would suggest surgery then radiation if your doctor thinks that would be best for you.
I chose to do the surgery to have stage 1 NSCLC removed from my upper Right lob. With Robotic assisted thoracic surgery about 2-3.. I may not need chemo or radiation. Easyer recovery with this type of surgery. And Cancer free afterwards. My surgery is scheduled for this week 10/17/23.
I did not have any surgery. I did radiation and chemo then immune therapy. My cancer NSCLC was in my lower left lung and was softball size. Last CT scan it was unmeasurable. Next week next scan and see how it's doing. Keep smiling.
