I had surgery then six months of chemo, pet scan showed good 3 months later showed cancer in lymph nodes in the same lung area. Started radiation, and just started immunotherapy infusion, I will have one year of this. I am exhausted all the time, short of breath and joints ache. But I am blessed to still be here. Trying to adjust to my new normal as bet I can. Not easy.
If you have rheumatoid arthritis you can't take immunotherapy. Talk to your rheumatologist. I have lupus and cannot take any immunotherapy, have been even turned down from trials.
Yes
Do not know what "RA" is. Yes, once Chemo treatments were finished, Immuno treatments were started on the same schedule. Chemo + Immuno treatments lasted a combined total of 1 year.
I moved from Chemo to Immuno without any change to side effects. I was able to drive myself to and from all appointments, the only thing that may have been out of the ordinary was that when I got back home, I would sleep. Sleep for hours, six or more.
