Hi Denise. Sorry but I just saw your question. Yes I am still in pain but found out from my first post op CT scan so have a fractured rib. 😬.

I never thought of describing it as wearing a tight corset but you are absolutely correct.😂

I also experienced the nerve pain. I had lobectomy in January 2026. My NP told me 6, 12 months and some never. Mine has got better but it's still numb and I get sharp pain every now and then. I still get the tightness in the side like you described corset wearing. I can lived with this.

Thank you Pam. Wishing you the best as well! I had VATS August 19. Still feels like I’m wearing a tight corset. The rib pain is not as bad as it was. The stabbing nerve pains are the main issue now.
