My husband is currently finished with treatment. He was diagnosed October with non-small cell stage 3B non-resectable lung cancer squamous cell is tumor shrunk from 7 cm to 5 cm in March. He is currently going through immunotherapy lately. He has been feeling pain in his chest could that be the cancer spreading or just something else?
It can be a lot of things including inflammation or infection. Or something not related to cancer. I'd call his doctor if it is something new or worsening. I thought I was having some pain because i had started exercising with some light weights but it was a small pleural effusion. How is he doing otherwise? I hope he is able to be comfortable enough to rest and that you are taking care of yourself too. It's all very stressful and exhausting. Thank goodness you have each other❤️
What chance that it is a pulled muscle
First, it's really encouraging news that the tumor has shrunk — that's a meaningful response to treatment. It's completely understandable to be concerned about new symptoms like chest pain, especially after everything your husband has been through.
