Any advice on how you tolerated side effects ? I received a B12 injection yesterday and taking folic acid daily plus steroid orally twice day before and after . Have zofran for nausea which I'll take around the clock also . Very anxious about how I'll feel and I know subsequent infusions SE worse and fatigue is huge . Anyway , any hints how to manage would be much appreciated . Thanks so much . Stage 3 1 to right middle lobe and lobectomy planned month after completing infusions

Members shared their experiences with carboplatin, Keytruda, and Alimta treatment in response to someone feeling anxious about starting this combination before a planned lobectomy for stage 3 lung cancer. Several members who completed the same regimen offered reassurance, noting that the first infusion was the hardest and subsequent rounds were more manageable, with one member sharing they stayed in remission for over 8 years. A recurring theme was staying as active as possible, using antiemetics proactively, and leaning on the community for encouragement and prayer.

I only got sick the first dose only . I eat almost all vegetables. Blue berries, broccoli 🥦 things like that. 8.5 years, praise God, I am going to my Granddaughters birthday party today. She will be 3.

Me too! I found few doctors that should lose their positions because of there attitudes and comments. There opinion, unless medical should not be spoken.

Also, I am still on b12 injections every 3 weeks. This is the only thing the carboplatin did to me, besides put me in remission
