Members shared insights on finding the right balance of high-calorie drinks like Boost and Ensure, emphasizing that daily intake depends on individual goals such as weight gain, maintenance, or loss, with most recommending consultation with a doctor or dietitian to account for medical conditions like diabetes or cancer. Several members described their personal approaches, including drinking two to five supplement shakes daily to reach calorie targets ranging from 1,200 to nearly 2,000 calories, with some adding creative touches like freezing Ensure for a treat or blending in nut butter for extra calories. A recurring theme was the importance of tailoring nutrition to your specific health needs and lifestyle, tracking total daily calories from all sources, and working with healthcare professionals to ensure supplements support rather than complicate your overall wellbeing.

I would ask your doctor to be sure. I have always been very small and I do drink 1 protein shake a day. I eat as healthy as I can, I have added allot of fruits and vegetables to my diet. I have gained about 12 pounds in the past year. I also exercise and go for walks everyday and move around as much as I can each day

It really depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Everyone who has had cancer will have different nutritional needs. It's best to consult with your oncologist and a dietitian!๐Ÿ˜Š

When I needed to gain weight I would put nut butter in my protein berry drink in the morning.
