Members shared encouraging stories about cancer treatment continuing to work after completion, with one member celebrating eight years of being cancer-free after stopping immunotherapy despite side effects. Several members offered practical advice for an upcoming lobectomy, including eating plenty of protein to support healing, with suggestions for protein-rich options like eggs and protein drinks for non-meat eaters. A recurring theme was the power of community prayer and support, with members lifting up those facing surgery and expressing hope that treatments would continue working even after completion.

I discontinued immunotherapy due to side effects and at that time my tumor was almost all gone and yes, the treatment does continue to work even after you stop and ultimately I became NED and have now been off all treatment for over eight years.

I didn’t have any treatment except lobectomy, now cancer-free and enjoying life again. I’ll keep praying for all of us, though. Rebekka
