I had no symptoms except for a very sudden onset of what I first thought was something sinus related or vertigo. An urgent head CT found a Brain tumor and further testing found a lung tumor (Stage IV). It was such a shock and not expected. If you have had imagining done (Brain MRI and CT/PET Scans, it is very likely that is how you were diagnosed).

That being said, even after my scans I did have a lung biopsy which did confirm Stage IV Non Small Cell Adenocarcinoma. Thankfully, it's now 10 years later, Brain tumor is gone and I'm off all treatment and have been for many years.

Depending on what tests you've done, it's usually pretty accurate. And many people with lung cancer have no symptoms at all. It's one reason lung cancer is usually diagnosed in late stages.

I’ve had 42 rounds of chemo and radiation,brain surgery,and after all of this I’m still here and don’t feel any different than before,Chemotherapy or radiation never made me sick I’m so blessed,Only thing I had was very tired so needed blood,Was in remission for a couple of years,Had pet scan last month and now have a different type of cancer in lung,so had radiation for that and chemotherapy to follow,But the way I look at it I don’t think I’m sick and I don’t look like I’m sick so we all need to pray for each other,God Bless you all have a great day

I was diagnosed with NSCLC stage 4 by accident, with no symptoms at all. I also had 2 lesions in my brain and it was in my lymph nodes.. I work out every day and do yoga (still). I also was shocked and confused. If you do have doubt you can ask for a second opinion...Be well...
