@A MyLungCancerTeam Member unknown on number of cycles. I looked it up when I knew what drugs I was getting and you can stay on it as long as it's working as long you tolerate it well.
Best of luck to you Fran. My choices are go back to my original chemo or try Docetaxel. Prayers it works for you!

FYI, Taxol is actually paclitaxel. Taxotere (docetaxel) is a different agent. I had Taxol as the big gun in my chemo cocktail in '22. It was painful for me. I know docetaxel is the only published second-line agent available in my situation, should the LC return. So, I expect it will be worse.
The list of side effects for all of the agents seem to include all the same effects. You have to look up the clinical trial to actually see how many patients (what percentage) had each one. That's a tough read.

Taxol can be tough on some people - it would not be my choice if there were other options.
