I had my lung cancer tumor removed 10/22. Stage 1A2. Went on tagrisso right away. Stayed on it about 2 mo had a bad reaction to the tagrisso and stopped. 2 years later I'm still NED no further meds but get a CAT with contrast every 4 mo now

I was diagnosed with nsclc in November of 2018 Tagrisso was just getting noticed where I live. It shrunk my tumor with tolerable side effects but it stopped working in about 2023 . Went on a low dose chemo every 4 weeks, not many side effects. Went off of everything and hadn’t seen my oncologist for about 2-3 months. Have an appointment Jan 15th. No reason except I remember reading “Cancer never goes away so thought I’d just check in. During the last couple of months I’ve fallen 3 times at home. I cracked my pelvis 2 times and broke it once. I’ve recovered mostly but I still can’t walk! I’ve been in and out of rehab facilities. Home to STAY!

I was diagnosed in 2021 with NSCLC Lung adenocarcinoma , they found that i had two tumors and were removed with a left Lobectomy , I received a 4 month of Quimotherapy , two years later i had two more small tumors on the right lower lobe , they performed a segmentectomy, with an unexpected bleeding in the middle of the Robotic Assistant surgery they had to converted to an open emergency surgery to save me, short Story i ended up with a fracture rib, and the need to use OT, and PT for at least two months, very grateful for that, my recovery process was slow but surely with some bacterial infection on the stitches, but always believing that prayers were going to be answered, today im cancer free, every 6 months i have my check ups with the Oncologist and the Pulmonologist who watch closely that everything is functioning properly ! Not spreds, Metastases or Mutations were found on the Tumors ADN! The Glory be to God!

I have a similar case Stage 1A2 with EGFR mutation Exon19. My Thoracic Oncologist said that no treatment needed just close surveillance. Which will be CT every 3 months for 2 years and Liquid biopsy. Then CT every 6 months for 3years then annually after. According to him he said Adjuvant therapy was found to be beneficial for later stages and recent studies on early stage 1B showed minimal benefit. He recommended lifestyle modification ie. plant based diet, low sugar/ low carb, meditation etc. to help reduce chances of recurrence. My faith & prayer helps me tremendously.
