Just dx with Malignant Pleural Effusion (MPE). 78 year old male, Stage 4A NSCLC. Finished 3 months on Tagrisso, scan showed Tagrisso did not work and MPE exists. Google search indicates chemo most likely not a cure for MPE.
Have you tried VATS procedure with talc pleurodesis?
