after reading it seems as if the gold standard of treatment is a lobectomy
Have you thought about a second opinion?
All of the drs concensus is that it will turn into cancer eventually. I have read about a treatment call SBRT which is a type of radiation that can be done which i may do
The biopsy is suspicious for Adenocarcinoma. There was no stage listed on the biopsy report since it was suspicious. I had a PET CT Scan done and the SUV uptake value is 0.79. I had a Nodify Lung blood test and it is indeterminate The nodule was found in January when I was sick and went to ER. The doctors said that want to remove my upper lung lobe and I do not have a positive result showing that it is cancer.
Cathy711 I don’t blame you for wanting some results before having a surgery. That is your right.
