Sorry, the nodule bottom of left lung same side surgery was done was 4 mm not 4 km.

It's been confusing because Dr said that during surgery he would be sending samples of the removed cancer to lab until he was sure all cancer was removed. 1st office visit he said he had removed it all & I was 1b stage NSCL cancer, all lymph nodes removed from lung were clear. He froze bottom of lung to help with pain. (still numb on left side surgery was Aug 29th) Then 2nd visit some test came back that he hadn't removed it all reclassified me as stage 2 & would need 12 wks chemo cycle 3 & 25 radiation treatments. Oncologist said 8 wks chemo then it became 4 wks cycle 3. I was given 2 different chemo drugs (which I assumed made diff in the 8 wks becoming 4 wks) w/immunotherapy, steroid & immunotherapy lasting 6 hrs to administer. Week after 2nd treatment that was reduced by 20% due to my comp!aint of side effects yet ended up in hospital with Epigastric pain, AKI & enteritis. I refused any further treatment & had baseline CT that came back clear, I'm to have another CT end of April, if clear I won't have another for 6 months. Dr also thinks I should follow plan for radiation. I'm sceptical due to side effects being same as chemo, rare but looks like I'm susceptible & likely to experience them. Oh, I also contracted conjunctivitis wks after chemo going to Patient First. I'm afraid of causing permanent damage to stomach. I had upper GI done in 2019 that showed Barrett's Esophagus without dysplasia & radiation may give me 2nd cancer. I do have a 4 km nodule bottom of lung Dr will be monitoring. Meeting radiologist, but I see no reason to chance my well-being. I'm being treated at the Virginia Cancer Institute/Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute.

Where are you being treated? Is it a Cancer Treatment Center in a Teaching University setting. I am not sure why you got immunotherapy if your cancer was localized, removed, and you have negative CT scan.
I was treated at UCLA, had upper right lobectomy, 12 lymph nodes removed, all negative. That was 2 years ago. I was not required to get any chemo, or immunotherapy, as my disease was small and totally removed.
As you are getting chemo and immunotherapy, it indicates you still have cancer in your body. Ask those questions of your oncologist.
