Hi Barbara
It is not uncommon to have benign lung nodules. But it is still some thing that you should take seriously.
My first bout with cancer was in 2018 and after surgery and chemotherapy for six months.I had a pet scan and they noticed two very small nodules one in each lung.I had a scan every three months and they stayed stable until my scan in January 2021 the nodules had grown. After tests it was confirmed stage four mestatic lung cancer.
I am not telling you this to scare you because like I said many lung nodules are benign. But I am telling you this so that you do take it serious. And have it watched.

Thanks for your response..I had radiation done on that nodule and will be going in 2 weeks for a follow up to see if the radiation killed it..

Hi Barbara
They did the same for me.I think everyone on this site will agree that after having cancer once every little ache and pain you never had before is a cause for concern.
Prayers being sent that it is a negative biopsy

After my colon cancer and successful resection in 2018. Regular CT scans found a very small nodule on left lung lymph node. It grew to 0.8 and formed 3 other nodules in 2022. Biopsy, tests, scans and then diagnosis of cancer on the lung. So please keep up with checking this. Like many have said, we have to take a serious look. We got this together!
