Yes, my treatment killed my thyroid. I will be on thyroid meds for life. Immuntherepy attacks not only cancer but organs as well. On a happy note I am in remission!
Hi Debbie
That was the answers my Dr gave me on my Thyroid medication to.
Yes Gary,
It looks like the thyroid is unable to stay at the same levels. Every 3 weeks prior my infusion, blood tests have being done and results are showing thyroid level issues. So I am receiving different levothyroxine dosages
125mcg / 150mcg / 100 mcg. It occurs with Keytruda also until thyroid stabilized.
It could be a malabsorption of the drug/ hormonal imbalances/?
My chemo treatment has been working. It's the bodies different issues that have come into play like thyroid, skin, and leg swelling. All of which are under control. Keeping the cancer cells stable on the lung and brain clear of nodules. I've been fortunate so far but as we all know what cancer is capable of. Positive and strong. We got this together
How do you feel with your chemo drug? I had thyroid cancer 24 years ago . It was removed so now I’m on .75 milligrams of Levothyroxine . It’s not a problem for me . I just wish I could say that about lung cancer🥲
