Ask what surgery is to be done-will she have a chest tube , how long in the hospital and will all cancer be removed. What will the recovery period be like.

I was diagnosed with stage2 adenocarcinoma of upper right lobe in August. Immediately I was sent to a thoracic surgeon who did a CT scan sent me to a pulmonary doctor for testing and biopsies. Then I was sent to oncologist who started immune chemo treatments right away. All doctors agreed on my treatment of 3 infusions 3 weeks apart. Then a CT scan to see if the tumor has shrunk and then laser surgery to remove the mass and the 3 suspicious nodules that were also found in lung. I have had 2 treatments. One more to go.
