My lung cancer is stable(2017). I'm anemic.
Low red blood cell count.
Oncologist wants to rule out any possible problems with bone marrow.

I did for Autoimmune Issues after 1st time of lung cancer they thought I had LGL cancer found out I had Evans Syndrome Lupus and and 6 other autoimmune issues and then lung cancer 2 more times
They can tell alot with a bone marrow Biospy

Anemia is a common side effect of many cancer drugs. The drug Epogen and Eprex are used to increase red blood cells.
