Is LUNG CANCER curable at all?

I am a stage 4 Cancer survivor. Was diagnosed as Stage 3B then mets Brain. I had chemo, proton radiation to lung and 2 lymph nodes. Had tumor on my speech center surgical removed then Lazer cyber knife to the edges of removal. Soon thereafter I was put on Keytruda. I have been on Keytruda for about 7 years with no evidence of disease. There is no cure but I am one of the fortunate stage 4 survivors. If it's caught early enough, mine was NSCLC, it can be survived is my understanding. I wish you the very best. Sharon

- Radiation therapy
- Chemotherapy
- Targeted drug therapy
- Immunotherapy For early-stage inoperable lung cancer, several treatments may be available:
- Photodynamic therapy
- Laser therapy
- Cryotherapy
- Bronchoscopic procedures

These treatments can help manage symptoms and in some cases may even lead to cure. The outlook largely depends on the cancer stage and overall health condition. While not every case is curable, modern treatments can often slow progression and extend life significantly.
