I picked up an infection a few weeks after my wedge resection. That caused a constant cough and shortness of breath. I ended up with fluid on the lung and had to have it drained.

I haven’t had any part of my lung removed but I do have a bad cough. Some days I think it’s getting better but really I don’t think it is. Water is my best friend. I always have water with me. Best wishes
