Still good if treated with chemotherapy because pdl1 is too low for immuntherapy?
Thank you both very much for sharing.
I was wondering if it will be possible someday to go on vacation again. Not sure about flying. We live in Europe. Wanted to travel overseas and see a bit of the World. Have Pleural Effusion.
Hi I was diagnosed with stage 4 NSCLC in May 2024. I have tumors in my rt lung, liver and ribs. I've done 4 rounds of chemo ( not as bad as I had feared) and now take a targeted medicine tagrisso. My tumors are shrinking and I'm hopeful. My doctor says he no longer considers stage 4 as terminal it's a chronic health condition. That made me feel better, like YES I'm going to live. Best of luck!
That is what the doctor told us, too. Immuntherapy would be pointless. They said they will check for mutation but we still have to wait. When did you find out it would be possible for you to get treated with immuntherapy?
I have stage 4 adenocarcinoma and I'm doing good. Prognosis for 5 years is pretty good with good quality of life.
