Yes, once they know the type the should have a treatment plan in place. My doctor walked me to the chemo room himself. It's scarey for us but the nurses really have it together to help you through. Praying you have a fabulous group of nurses to help smooth the process. Let us know how you make out or if you have questions.

I would think this is done and ASAP so treatment can get started right away.
