Ater 21 of 30 radiation treatments and 5 of 6 chemos, I have a sore spot on the tip of my tongue. Has anyone experienced this and if so, what did or are you doing to help?

Yes…I used Biotene products for rinse, toothpaste and moisture spray .. mild and used specifically in cases such as this ..

Sharon, sorry you are experiencing that. I have not had that. I would contact your oncologist. Sometimes chemo can cause mouth and tongue sores and there are medications that can help. Best wishes. Sue

Hi Sharon,
I agree with Sur.... Let your Oncologist know most definitely !
Also maybe try rinsing your mouth out with warm salt water periodically throughout the day... And eat soft foods as well as use a straw to drink...
Thank goodness our mouths heal fairly fast, so hopefully it's not something that is ongoing...
Hugs,
Bonnie ❤️
