I was just told that I have lung cancer. I don’t know what stage etc. I am seeing oncologist for the first time on Monday. I would appreciate advice on what questions I should ask. I believe it may be in early stage because it did not in chest X-ray in July. I am very thankful that I found this site.

Im not a doctor..... But if you are at its early stages you're one of the lucky ones. My advice is to take whatever the doctor suggests. I didn 30 radiations in a row plus 6 chemos. I'm presently on Keytruda and so far Im in my 4th year. I think you will do great......

Good morning Roseanna
The only advice I can give you is to get a note book and write down any questions you might have. The first meeting can be information overload and can be overwhelming to.If you have a family member or freind that can go with you I strongly advice you to bring them.An extra set of ears is so important.
But the note book seems to work for me and everyone else.Even four years later I write things in it for my next appointments.
Welcome to a great site I think you will totally enjoy interacting with a great group of informative and caring people that Truly understand what you are going through.
Good luck on your upcoming appointment praying that it will be the best news possible
