I received chemo and radiation and there is no sign of cancer now. They want to do PCI preventative treatment now and I'm worried about side effects.

It’s been 7 months since my PCI - appetite returned last week, hair growing, taste buds recovering, energy started returning in a month. Long lasting effect is dry mouth - just learned of a treatment with Biotene last week - it’s not dehydration but damage to salivary glands. Feeling pretty good.

I just finished PCI May 15. Didn’t bother me much until 2 weeks ago and I’ve been sick since. It’s a hard call but drs in my family said brain cancer is awful and the worst of the choices. So who knows. I’m very dehydrated, got fluids yesterday, dizzy when get up, extreme exhaustion, throat hurts, no appetite, and low grade fever. Also got some steroids a week ago but no help.
